Coasters & stubby holders
Coasters at 96mm with bleed, stubby holders on the 190 × 95mm print area — clear of the stitching.
Applies to: Printed coasters and neoprene stubby holders
Two very different products. Coasters are thick uncoated board, printed on one or both sides and cut to shape. Stubby holders are 5mm neoprene, printed in full colour by sublimation and finished with tape and stitching.
Step by step
Coasters: set up the shape
Make the artwork 96 × 96mm plus 2mm bleed on every side, and design to the shape you’re ordering — circle or rounded square. Keep text and logos well inside the edge; on a circle, the corners of the square file are cut away.
Coasters: one side or two
For double-sided coasters supply two pages, front then back. Uncoated board soaks up a little ink, so very fine detail and small reversed text print softer than on a gloss stock.
Stubby holders: use the print area
Build the artwork at 190 × 95mm, the full print area. Ask us for the stubby holder template, and keep important content clear of the stitching, the tape and the side seam.
Choose the trim colour
Pick one of the eight tape and stitching colours. Match a colour from your artwork to blend it in, or contrast it to frame the design.
Check the quantities before you design: coasters start at 1,000, stubby holders at 30.
